Verden, 4th May 2009 - Germany’s Werra-Meissner Savings Bank has launched its own “Overland Savings Bank”, a modern, fully-featured mobile branch, and is using it to meet its customers where they are.
The mobile branch’s triple zone concept comprises a self-service area, a service desk which includes a teller desk and workstation, and a separate, private advisory zone with room for up to four people. When required, a flexible glass partition can slide into place to provide a confidential atmosphere.
Werra-Meissner Savings Bank will be using the fully custom-built “Overland Savings Bank” to pay regular visits to ten villages in the county which hitherto only had self-service outlets. This way, it will reach around 10,500 individuals and be able to provide them not just with self-services but with urgently required local professional advice and guidance too.
